Erik Hulslander

I’m a Post Production Audio Engineer and Avid Certified Pro Tools Expert with experience spanning film, television, broadcast promotion, wellness media, and digital content.

For the past decade, I’ve led post-production workflows through my studio, Hear No Evil Media, delivering stereo, surround, and streaming-ready mixes for film, television, podcasts, and digital platforms. My work includes dialogue editing, sound design, restoration, mastering, and full session builds within complex Pro Tools environments using ICON, Artist, and S Series control surfaces.

Most recently, I worked as a contract Audio Editor with Starz, handling sound design, editorial, final mix, and quality control for stereo, surround, and Dolby Atmos promotional content. Working within broadcast delivery standards strengthened my experience with compliance, technical specifications, and fast-paced network workflows.

From 2018–2022, I served as Senior Sound Editor for Aura Health, an award-winning global meditation platform. I led audio quality control, mentored a distributed team of editors, and coached content creators worldwide to improve recording environments and reduce post-production revision cycles. This role sharpened my ability to translate technical standards into practical guidance for creators across diverse recording setups.

Earlier in my career, I built a strong foundation in financial and operational management, overseeing publishing administration, royalty tracking, and regulatory compliance in a legal and music business environment. That experience continues to inform how I manage projects, contracts, budgets, and client relationships today.

I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Recording Arts Technology from the University of Colorado Denver and hold an Associate degree in Music Business. I am also an Avid Certified Expert in Post Production Editing and an Apple Certified Technician.

I’m driven by clarity — technically, creatively, and operationally. Whether it’s immersive broadcast promo work, restorative dialogue editing, or mentoring creators toward better source recordings, my focus is always the same: clean signal, strong workflow, and reliable delivery.
